Conference (in-person and stream): Horizons of Punk, June 8-9, 2023, Paris

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the Horizons of Punk: Punk-Rock Scholarship and its Methodologies, an international conference organised by Gustave Eiffel University (France) in collaboration with Punk Scholars Network (PSN) UK & South Korea, on June 8-9, 2023.

Thursday 8th June - 4PM OPENING EVENT (Film screenings + Special Panel)
Please note that the location of this event is different to that of the main conference - Université Gustave Eiffel, Bâtiment Alexandra David-Néel, 2 allée du Promontoire 93160 Noisy-le-Grand, Amphi F2. Access to the venue is 5 min. walk from Noisy-Champs RER Station. Exit the station on the tail end of the train from Paris (see map attached).

Friday 9th June - 9AM CONFERENCE & EVENING EVENT (Keynote + 3 Panels + Special Interview + Book Launch + Punk Poet Performance + Art Exhibit + DJ + Buffet/Drinks) 

Main Conference: Salle de conférence, Bibliothèque Georges Perec, Université Gustave Eiffel, 1 Rue des Frères Lumière, 77420 Champs-sur-Marne

Evening Event: Cafétéria, Maison de l’étudiant (MDE), Université Gustave Eiffel, 1 Rue des Frères Lumière, 77420 Champs-sur-Marne 

Access to the two venues is 10 min. walk from Noisy-Champs RER Station. Exit the station on the front end of the train from Paris (see map attached).

We will be streaming the conference online and recording all papers and events for the Punk Scholars Network website.

Conference language will be English. We are so excited to see you in Paris!
