The INSAM Journal of Contemporary Music, Art and Technology Editorial Team is happy to invite you to collaborate on our twelfth issue (I/2024). The main theme of this issue will be “Artificial Intelligence in Music, Arts, and Theory Revisited”.
In our second issue (I/2019), we posed the question of artificial intelligence in music, arts and theory. After ten issues and several major world events that influenced the shift in our perspectives, work, thinking and creating art and music, it is time to revisit this subject. Although some may argue that not enough time has passed, we believe that these events set in motion changes and developments in art, music, and scientific thought that are worth giving space on our platform.
With that in mind, we are interested to know how the changes in our everyday life and the technological development that followed over the last several years, reflected on the relationship of the AI, art, music and scientific disciplines dealing with these fields. Therefore, we invite you to discuss topics that include (and are not limited to) the following areas:

  • Use of AI in Music, Arts and Science;

  • Concerns regarding AI in arts and music;

  • Arts and Robotics;

  • Artificial intelligence in Music;

  • Artificial Intelligence in Music Therapy;

  • Artificial Intelligence in Performing Arts;

  • Computer-generated poetry;

  • Philosophy of/and/in Artificial Intelligence.

INSAM Journal is structured in four sections: The Main Theme, Beyond the Main Theme, Reviews, and Interviews. The main topic predefines only The Main Theme section; in other sections, we welcome your contributions related to contemporary art and media theory, artistic music, performing and visual arts, and technology.
This issue will be published in July 2024. For detailed information on the manuscript preparation, see Authors Guidelines on our website – https://insam-institute.com/guidelines-for-authors/ . Send your proposals (theme, short abstract and keywords) by February 1, 2024, and, if accepted, full papers by March 15 2024 to insam.journal[at]gmail[dot]com

Looking forward to our cooperation,
