Scholarship: PhD opportunities at University of West London

The London College of Music at University of West London is is creating further opportunities for a number of 3-year fully funded PhD Scholarships. Although UWL is accepting proposals on a broad range of themes, we have various subject-specific target areas including:

  • Music/Audio Technology

  • Record Production

  • Composition (from classical to popular/electronic)

  • Music Education

  • Music Business

Successful applicants to the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships will join a vibrant and challenging academic environment where innovation, insight, and knowledge creation feeds into high-quality research.

These PhD scholarships are open to all UK/EU students who qualify and include:

  • PhD fee waiver at the Home/EU rate

  • Tax-free stipend of £15,000 per annum

  • Teaching opportunities

  • The scholarships will commence in Spring 2020
