Job: Marie Curie Postdocs, Newcastle University's International Centre for Music Studies (ICMuS)

ICMuS) invites expressions of interest for the Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. The objective of these is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. They are designed for researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out research abroad and acquire new skills. More details can be found here:

We are looking to build on our recent successes in this area by working with diverse early career scholars to develop high-quality proposals.

We welcome enquiries from researchers in all areas of music scholarship, including those working in primary fields other than music. Both ICMuS and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie foundation recognise and encourage the benefits of interdisciplinary research.

Eligibility
Applicants should have a PhD or be post-viva at the time of the deadline. They must have no more than eight years’ experience in research, from the date of the award of their PhD degree. Years outside research and career breaks will not count, nor will years of experience in research in third countries, for nationals or long-term residents of EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries who wish to reintegrate to Europe. Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the UK (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), or at Newcastle for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 of the 36 months immediately before the deadline.

 *   Outline of project, the training you need to achieve the project goals, and why Newcastle University is the best fit for you (max 2 sides A4)
