“Música e Cultura – Special issue on Music and resistance”

The academic journal Música e Cultura (http://musicaecultura.abetmusica.org.br), published by the Brazilian Association for Ethnomusicology (ABET), is now accepting contributions for its next issue, addressing one or more of the following subjects: Music and resistance, including music and migration, musical traditions, music and politics, music and religion, music and violence, and new researches.
The editors wish to invite submissions of articles and reviews, from colleagues in the field of ethnomusicology and beyond, as well as interdisciplinary researchers. Texts in Portuguese, Spanish, English or French are welcome.
Submission deadline is november 15th, via the email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. In your message please include: article/review attached, without naming the author(s); title and a one-paragraph abstract; your name and academic affiliation (in the message only); a list of 3-5 keywords.
ABET is an academic association interested in strengthening cooperation with researchers and communities across borders, and the open-access periodical Música e Cultura is part of this engagement.
