“Associate Lecturer Music Industry”

The School of Media and Communication is now seeking a Lecturer who will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the Music Industry discipline area.
As Associate Lecturer you will assist with teaching and development, course coordination, curriculum design, course administration, and quality assurance for core stream curriculum in relevant courses drawing on recent practical and professional experience. Your role will provide student academic advice and support for the program. You will have a demonstrated ability to teach in the discipline area of Music Industry in undergraduate courses such as popular music, sound production technology, performance, world music and entrepreneurship and also have significant expertise and industry experience. In addition, you will be required to undertake research activities in line with the university’s research strategy that emphasises relevant and applied research. It is essential that you have a qualification in the relevant discipline area, and commenced or enrolled to commence a PhD.
