The AMS database Doctoral Dissertations in Musicology is a handy and extensive online database of doctoral dissertations related to musicology (in the broadest sense of the word). The database contains about 16,000 records of complete and in-progress musicology dissertations, dating from the late nineteenth century to a few days ago. Search capabilities are numerous, including searching according to advisor, degree-granting institution, keywords, etc. A number of entries have listings for online access to dissertations.
