The CMCR supports high-quality research in the areas of arts, media and culture. Our work encompasses a wide variety of methodologies and approaches, including practice-based research, empirical work on audiences, texts and production, and theory-driven analysis.
Key shared interests are cultural memory & transcultural identities, and convergent networked media (this can include popular music research).
Applicants should have a good first degree in a relevant subject and a Master’s degree relevant to their proposed field of study.
